How can I re-program my Renault Laguna Key Fob?

i followed the 2nd description about holding the central locking button for more than 5 seconds then press the key fob. Worked A TREAT THANKS

right take the key apert inside there should be 2 sets of numbers one with letters and one without. note if there are more than 5 numbers this will not work. write the numbers down cross out the middle number. now subtract the first 2 numbers from the last two.now write the answer down leaving a space in the center.now take the two first numbers turn then round and put them in the center of the answer you wrote down befor. this is your imobaliser number.now open your car with the key at the door lock,sit down get comfie , your car has a botten to open and lock the doors. press this botten and hold it in when the red light flashs count the flashs until it has flashed as many times as your first number then take your finger off the button and push it right back down the light will flash againcount the lights stopping for the end of each number you wrote down when you have done the red light will stay on. hay presto you have turned off the imobaliser not for good as once the car is turned off and on again you will have to re enter the coad in the same way.i hope this helpes.

LAGUNA II INFRA RED RESYNCHRONISING

1. Turn the Ignition OFF.

2. Press the central door locking button for more than 5 seconds. Note: the door should lock then unlock.

3. When this happens 15 seconds is allowed and the immobiliser warning light illuminates.

4. Point the 1st key at the receiver and press the button once, the doors should lock and unlock.

5. Point the 2nd key at the receiver and press the button once, the doors should lock and unlock.

6. Check the remote control unlocks and locks the doors.
