Black smoke from my exhaust laguna 1.9 dci any ideas?

laguna rushing noise !! it sounds like the turbo intercooler has failed if you look through the front grill at the radiators top edge do they run parallell?
if not the intercooler has expanded and split you need to remove your grill,bumper,headlamps&top front panel to gain access you may even need to have the ac emptied and refilled by a dealer???
