i agree ..just done one on a 16 valve scenic bit of a job (if its the same) you need a special tool to lock the crank and cams in place while you remove the cambelt to get at water pump.. its definatetly not a diy job..hope this helps..

not easy as your waterpump is driven by the cambelt which you will also need to change, I would sugest that you either buy a haynes manual or book it into a garage.
