gilera dna 125 speedo will not work?

Just got one and mine the same after a week lol any ideas how to fix it or buy new speedo from

i have same problem on my 50 cc gilera dna and carnt find any info on it but i followed my sensor wire and it does not go to the clock im presuming the person who had it before me wired it to the magneto or sumat ??????? as it works for small time but goes straight back to 0 afer about 8mph let us now if you sorted it and how thanks

speedo's are a common fault on dna's once gone there gone and expensive to replace

i have a 125 dna and my speedo does not work it shows 0mph all the time but some time if i move the speedo cable near the wheel it will work for a short amount of time can any one help me
and also how do you get the speedo unit off the front wheel with out takeing the wheel off

My sppedo on my 125 was not working, it juyst displayed a 0mph on the sppedo. i took it apart at the speedo and at the sensor fitted to the front wheel. i cut the cable one inch from the speedo and one inch from the sensor and replaced the cable flex with a new peice and now it works fine.

i have a gilera dna 50cc 02' due to the recent weather my speedo just stopped working for 7-8 days i believe that it is the damp that could be the main problem in the electric but its a question of time really.
