My Hotpoint Aquarius wm24 stops when it finishes washing. I have to turn the dial by hand to get it to empty the water - which it does. I cannot get it to spin, it just stops. Please help as I am in the middle of potty training and really need a washing machine.
Hi Michelle. I recently had the same thing - you shouldn't really fix it yourself as there are wires involved - its likely to be the motor brushes (as it was in my case) or the belt. I opened the lid and found the belt was intact so i rang a local repair guy to come and replace the brushes. It cost me £48 - took him bout 5 mins.
