Can I use my HDTV as a monitor for my laptop...the laptop has a bluray dvd player in it and it would be great if I didn't have to buy a bluray dvd player. Any suggestion?
However to get HD you will need an HDMI or DVI output from your PC. If the latter you will need a DVI to HDMI cable and two cables with phono (RCA) plugs for the sound.

If you consult your t v instructions you may find you have a vga connector that will link your tv and ltop with a .vga cable.Have tried to keep it simple but most new kit have this type of connections or s video
