Mend Brother LS1217 Sewing Machine Tension Repair

How do you put the tension back together for a Brother LS1217?

I have a Brother LS1217 sewing machine that was having tension issues so I stupidly took the tension knob off. I have no clue how the parts go back together & need some help. I have all the parts but just don't know how they go back & how to fix the original problem of my machine not holding the tension.
