how can i make my laptop run faster?

if you uninstal norton completly and install avg 8.0 this will do all what norton does but not take up as much memory and it will run faster

Norton is a huge resource hog especially if you have 360 installed. What is your operating system XP or Vista?

If you download CCleaner it will clean out your computer and let it run faster. Make sure you say YES to Registry backup. I have a folder in My Documents named Registry Backup.

Also when your Norton expires download AVG antivirus and Comodo Firewall. Comodo is confusing at first but will work well when it is finished learning.

More memory is the best way to speed up your computer. XP would like 1GB and Vista 2GB

Hi John,
Have you deleted all cookie files, temporary internet files, also you could delete, file called Pretech, in the Windows folder,, just stores stuff from internet! Do a complete scan aswell.!

Norton can cause your laptop to run slow because it ha a reputation as a resource hog. If you are running Windows XP SP2 you need at least 512MByres RAM.
