Mend 92 ply laser Light Turn Installed

alt. no charge?

92 ply laser,no indicator light on when turn key on ,installed a new alt. and batt. part store says light must work to trigger alt. to charge. how do i diagnos this?

The light is a warning light only. Get a voltmeter and put across the battery. When running the voltage should go between 13.3 v and 14.8 v if its doin this dont worry.
