Can I bypass/Disable the immobiliser on my Ford Escort N Reg 1.8 TD?

I wanted to do the same thing for the same reason.

To have any chance you need to have the diagnostic equipment that "talks" to the cars ECU......I dont think you can do it by the old fashioned bridge it out hard wire method.

You should be able to get the emergency disable code from the Ford main dealers though....well I did for my Renault and I think most immobilisers are similar.Ask at the dealership.
