Sony PS2 will not power up from stand by?

Hi i am an electronics engineer and i have a problem with this ps2 slimeline.The PS2 will not switch on? press on button goes to green for a couple of seconds then goes back to red. Have striped down and found that PS3 fuse link is open circuit. Have replaced with temp fuse , but that blows as well. There seems to be a short circuit on the main board. can you help me in fixing this problem. + all other fuse links all ok

The problem you have mate is a common fault on the ps2 slimline
this is caused by a blown RS2004FS chip (laser focus
control, video signals run through this chip as well)
