Whirring or whistling from engine - Ford Mondeo Ghia (97)?

Also I have three problems with my Ford Mondo Ghia (97)
1. There is a clicking noise coming from behine the glove box it does not do it all the time just the majority of the time, any suggestions.
2. The window washer, every time i fill it up it leaks onto the road but I cannot find the pipe which i think it may be leaking from.
3. The speedometer keeps not working, it works for a while then drops back to 0 and will not work again for a while, I have been told by a garage it is the sensor and that it is in the clutch is this true.
