How can i lock out the motor to remove the motor pully?

Consider yourself lucky if no damage has resulted. Now days, if a timing belt goes whilst the engine is running, you will be looking at bent valves, cracked head, damage to the piston head, etc. So the likelyhood of just getting away with changing it is about0.0001%
