how can i fix my 1998 Vauxhall Corsa meric 1.2 cutting out?

hiya mate it sounds like the same probllem i had with mine when starting off in the morning it will constantly kangaroo and cut out untill it is warm. plus the revs would be constantlly below 1000 rpm . i changed the plugs an ht leads and turned the engine revs up a lil bit and its fine now

It's probably the air mass flow meter senser.

I had the same symptoms - lack of power, hesitancy, and reduced economy. Reading around I found it's the most likely cause. Took to a garage to check, their computer linked upto the car's cpu agreed straight away.

Item replaced, no probs since. Like a new car. Ebay has loads for sale cheap, then take it and car to garage, and let them fix it if you want. Job done.

y dont u pay £50 quid to get it plugged in on a cpu then it will tell u everything u need to no?
