The belt came off and we just managed to get it back on agian. However when you turn the drum it looks like the belt is going to come off over the inner lip on the drum. I would like to know if this is normal or will it go flying off.
My washing machine has been working normally but today it won't spin off the water at the end of the cycle. The drum is going round fine during the cycle but the big spin finale is missing and my clothes are sopping wet. Any ideas??

i think you may have a buckled drive pulley wheel, or a partly collapsed bearing causing wheel to run out of trueness. check drum for excess up /down movement and side to side.
(belts come off for a reason)
