I'm struggling in removing the upper plastic shroud - any tips?

Mark, there are 4 screws holding the lower shroud on then two screws on the top shroud and two more from under the top shroud it helps to pull the red cap off the hazzard switch but you dont need to remove the steering wheel

Oh thanks Nigel, just having a pain getting the top section of the steering column shroud off! Any hints to squeeze it off without taking the steering wheel off?

Thanks Nigel, I've found a couple on Ebay.Does it matter that the car is just basic 1.1? I assume that the functions just won't work (imagine if they did) on a higher spec stalks?

Hi Mark, a common fault on your car is the indicator stalk assembly easy to replace remove the shroud around the steering column and the stalk assembly is held in place by a single screw plenty of them for sale on ebay around £5
