Mend Suzuki RV Motor Start Lock

how can fix my (rf suzuki rv motor bike)?

my suzuki rv wont start now that ive put a new ignition lock on to it have i done something wrong at the start when i took the old one off.

should be plug and play, is the new ignition brand new out the box or is it a second hand 1.
Check connections r well pushed together?
R the instrument lights comming on?
Is the bike in neutral?
Try pulling in the clutch leaver?
Try the old 1 again?
