I have valliant turbomax vuw242/1e 282/1e combi boiler,heating works fine?

hot water works ok when the heating is on all the time but when i turn the switch over to the hot water only i get cold water i replaced differential pressure switch and i found no change.the boiler is 8 year old and had no problems with the system at all could any one please help me.
