Mend Diplomat ADP1613 Ceramic Touch Control

my diplomat adp 1613 ceramic touch control hob will not come on?

hob is wired ok. is there a child safety lock on it? can anyone please help i'm hungry?

I managed to do it on mine

turn it on
press bottom right + and the - buttons then press the - button again and this disables it.

Jo here, sorry but I lost so much weight I had to give in and purchase a new hob.

Found a vague answer...
press the bottom right ring-button and the - button together and this should unlock. Problem is it's not permanent and you have to do this every time.
Bit rubbish I know but it's the best i can do at the mo. If i find a permanent answer, I'll let you know
