Mend Running Couple Replaced

my treadmill stopped running and then smelled like something is burning. e?

my treadmill stopped running then smells like rubber burning. will go back on only for couple of min.
can a part be replaced or do I need a new one?

When you say it comes back on, How do you get it to come back on?
Can you remove the motor hood ?
The drive belt may be worn from extra drag from a worn walking belt and deck.
