How to pull pump from GM4l60E. No lip for puller, Pump bolts too hard/higu?
Input shaft has no lip for GM style puller, splines run all the way down inside pump. Afraid I was going to break case, tried pump bolts with puller would not budge. ??
Hi try warming the case up on the outside around the pump area,then with a copper hammer tap the stator gently while pulling on it.
Thats how i,ve always done them.
