Mend Hotpoint DWF70S Door Spring Help

Hotpoint DWF70S dishwasher door catch spring broken?

Wonder if anyone can help...
The door catch on my Hotpoint dishwasher DWF70S is broken.
I took the door panel off to examine the catch and found that the little spring that holds the catch in position had snapped.
I was searching the internet to find the spring (or the whole catch mechanism) as a spare part, but no long on both counts.
Would anyone know where to get the spring from?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
