Mend Benq FP71G+ Light Working Fine

Benq monitor. light comes on then fades out?

I've got a 2 year old 17" Benq LCD Monitor (FP71G+). Was working fine until yesterday. When I switch it on now the green light and the screen come on for about a second then switch off again. Is there a way to fix this or is it knackered? Any advice much appreciated.

It you have a separate power supply between the wall socket and the monitor, that could be faulty, if the mains lead plugs directly into the monitor then I would recommend trying www.lumaco.co.uk, it should cost around £55 plus postage to repair
