My Bosch WFF 1401 washing machine has a rather bad smell. It appears that the pipes feeding into the powder tray have become clogged. I have tried a range of hex keys to remove the two scews at the side of the top cover, none seem to fit. Does anyone Know the size and type of screw so that I am get the correct tool to remove these?
Did you ever find the answer to your question - and the source of the smell. I have just moved into rented accomodation with a Bosch WFF1401 washing machine and it too has a smell!
