Mend Rover 214 16v Keeps Back Please

i have a rover 214 16v that keeps back firing can you help please?

i have rover 214 that keeps back firing it drives for around ten minuits back fires and wont restartfor 5 to 10 minuits later i have changed leads ,spark plugs and coil any ideas thanks

confirm proper basic timing with a timing light by the manual, if that fails, confirm you do not have a blown head gasket - quite common on those engines
