Mend Glow-worm Micron 50FF Glow Turn Control

glow worm micron 50ff runs cont?

my micron 50ff will not switch off unless you turn the control knob to off or switch the power off could this be a pcb fault?

found problem was zone valve stuck in on position and sending 230 volts supply to boiler
