how to change starter motor on a vauxhall vectra 1.8 1999?

follow the heavy red cable from the battery you will find your motor
Make SURE you have the radio CODE
DISCONNECT the battery EARTH, now undo the heavy cable off the starter motor end undo the bolts holding the motor (they will be tight) and withdraw motor. Bolt the new motor into position reattach the heavy RED CABLE securely refit the EARTH connection RECODE the radio
NOTE
car WILL drive a bit lumpy DUE TO THE ECU LOSING ITS THROTTLE MAPPING BE OK AFTER ABOUT 20 MILES OF LEARNING
