why wont my car start ?

my saxo has a starting problem sometimes. when u turn the ignition on listen,and u should b able to hear the fuel pump buzzin if u cant hear it buzzin try lifting up the back seat and there will b a plastic cover take off the cover a try hittin the fuel pump with the handle of a hammer (not to hard) and thn try and start ur car if it starts thn ur fuel pump is on its way out and needs replasing
