Mend GHD Loose Connection Red

how to loosen the screw on GHD's?

My GHD's seem to have loose connection as the red light comes on then goes off. I have tried to open them up to have a look but I cant seem to get the screw which holds them together to come out. In is spinning round but just wont loosen.

Can you help?

once youve taken the screw out of side one, then the other screw is no longer attached to it, you just need to pry it out with a small flat head screw driver
