How do I get a Renault Megane key card reprogrammed?

please i wanna make a copy for my key for renault megane 2005(VF1G27165R536701). Could you please help me to buy it at the cheaper price. from where i can buy it?

i myself have just ordered a new keycard from renault at £99.88p for the card and £50.00 to have it programmed to the car as anothere answer gave you each card is done on engine/ chassis number and only renault can do this yes the cards are ordered from france and have being told take approx 1 week to arrive you can keep trying for cheaper but you will not get it done properly.

believe me don't bother wasting your time as iv'e been going down this road at the moment just buy a new card and be done with it ......sorry

Aren't Megane keys a smart card type and different from the types that keyrepair can deal with?

Unfortunately a keycard for one megane cannot be reprogrammed to operate the locks on another one. Each card is ordered from France, specifically by chassis number of the car. I'm afraid you've wasted your money on a pointless card! That's why Renault dealers can charge so much for them, because it's difficult to find anywhere else that can get hold of them from somewhere other than Renault themselves. Sorry.
