Mend Ambassadors Turn Open Stay

How can I fix my venetian blinds?

I have metal vertical blinds and they turn open but will not stay up at any height by pulling the string. Is there a way to fix this? They are from the Ambassadors Collection.

At the top of the blind where the cord hangs from should be a small corrugated roller. Sometimes this gets stuck in the wrong place and stops working - especially if it is dirty. Check that it is able to roll into the correct position and isn't clogged up with dust/fibres from the cord.
