Mend Saab 93 Fuel Smell Going

saab cabin fuel smell?

My 1998 saab 93 smells strongly of fuel in the cabin when idling, stopping or going slowly round corners can anyone help ?

I had the same problem on my 93 (2001), you will probably find the problem is a split hose which is under the top engine cover coming out of the rocker cover next to the oil filler cap. This area gets hot and the hoses will perrish over time.

i have a vw mk3 gti and have the same problem and was told to replace fuel tank and check exhaust for leaks /fumes
