how to replace a fan belt?

i have a ford galaxy 2.3 year 2001, the fan belt has snapped, i have bought a replacement, however the area is tiny, and i carn't see where to gain access. i have removed the air system for the top, however the access is still to small to put my hand in. regards Gary
