Boiler is located in the basement. 1st floor radiators have water coming out when manually vented. Some 2nd floor radiators water coming out when manually vented, others vent some air then nothing. Should water becoming out when air has been venting. What would be causing the radiators to have some heat but no water or air out of the manual vent?
if you have got a sealed system,no tank in the loft,then you have to put water in yourself through a filling loop until a pressure gauge shows 1.5 bar. this filling loop looks like a braided hose with a tap at one or both ends . turn on untill pressure reads 2 turn off then bleed highest rads if air stops coming out without water , then top up again to 1.5 bar.
