Ikea lamp transformer replacement?

Bought an Ikea Korsby light and the transformer has developed a crack in the casing
Is the lamp still safe to use?
If not how can I replace it?

Do you still have your KORSBY lamp????? I broke one of the bulbs and I unfortunately cannot find anymore. Your question was in 2008. It is now 2012 that I just saw this.

dude, IKEA will replace it. Just bring your receipt. Even without a receipt, they may do it out of courtesy.

I actually need a transformer for the IKEA Mil floor lamp. Was given to me sans transformer. Any idea of where I can get replacement for that! :)

Bring it to a good quality lighting supplier. He will be able to match up the right transformer to your lamp. Just don't be surprised at the cost of the transformer. Sometimes those inexpensive lamps have low quality parts and the cost to fix it can be more than the price you paid for it.
