Mend Bush 2039 Dvd Player

How can I fix my Bush 2039 DVD player?

We had already used the DVD player today when after switching on again it would not switch on either manually or by remote. Can anyone suggest what has happened and how to deal with this problem? This is not an old unit but admittedly has had plenty of use!
