windscreen washer on nissan almera has packed in w?

I had a problem with my 3 door nissan almera 2001-rear windscreen wiper and screen wash not working. Problem was 10amp fuse had failed. In this model you have to pull out the small tray to the right of the steering column on the dash to find the fuses. There are usually spare fuses on the fuse board.

Yes the blown fuse problem has occurred twice on my Nissan tino SE2, the fuse controls Front intermittent wipers, rear wipers and wash to both front and rear

System: No washer for front winscreen, no intermitant, no rear wiper or washer. My Y reg 1.8 Almera Tino, had the same problem.
Fault: 10A fuse blown in fuse box in the lower half of the dash on the drivers side.
Cause of fault: Switching the wipers on when the wipers were frozen to the screen.

The same just happened to me when I tried to use the washers but they were frozen.
It was the 10amp fuse in the fuse box below the dashboard on the drivers side (pull out the little tray above the bonnet pull lever).
There is a chart of the fuses on the inside of the cover.
The fuse box in the engine compartment does not serve the wipers on my model.
