Hi can anyone help me with this one. I have got a rover 400 dti on a s reg plate and my key fob bat has just run out. i want to replace the bat but i dont want to take it to rover to reprogram it as that can some times cost a lot. does any one know how to do this and can it be done by yourself? All help will be very help ful.
on the rover 100+many others if imobilizer is fitted you replace batery-unlock with key+press the LOCK button repeatedly fast until the doors lock-then it shud unlock+lock as normal-i stress this is the 100 rover(p reg)

Hi Jason, unlock the car with the key, hold the remote near the car, press the remote padlock or dimpled button 4 times or more in quick succession
