Mend Proline PDW081S Dishwasher Repair Heating Element

how can I fix my Dishwasher, Proline, PDW081S?

Dishwasher switched on yesterday. Later, it did not sound right. Opened door to find that there was no water present. Element was red hot as were dishwasher contents. Today, I fixed the water problem but after putting it on a program, it took water O.K. but did not heat it up. I have tested the element offline and it is O.K. Any ideas?

Not quite what I was expecting in the garden section but I'm normally in the washing machine area so can help. If the element is fine then the most likely explanation is a thermostat, some are resettable by pushing a button, others are a straight forward swap I'm afraid. Just follow the wiring from the element and you should find one. Not too expensive though. Keep gardening
