HOW CAN I FIX MY LIGHTING?

I HAVE PUT IN A NEW TWO WASWITCH IN THHALLWAY(UPSTAIRS / DOWNSTAIRS) IT WORKS BUT NOW THE UPSTAIRS ROOM'S LIGHTS DO NOT WORK. HOW DO I RESOLVE THIS? HOW ARE THOSE WIRES LINKED TO THE OTHER ROOMS?

the landing light controlled from up and downstairs- you should have 5 wires in one switch and 3 in other switch.
if its a two gang switch you have replaced you may have lost switch return to light NOT on two way circuit
is replacement switch upstairs or downstairs

How many wires have you in each light switch you have changed.
You should have a pos 5 wires in a one gang 2 way switch .
