my hotpoint washing machine nearly every time it goes on to final spin it dosn't seem to empty fast enough and when the spin cycle starts it forces the water out of the soap draw if i leave it it seems to spin ok could the pump be blocked
poss blocked filter, pump or sump hose. could also be overfilling.

strip and clean all pipes starting with the sump hose,then the pump then outlet hose that maybe connected to the u bend under the sink (ignore last bit if you have a stand pipe)
