Mend Combi Boiler Central Heating Fault

how do I purge my combi boiler?

My gas supply was disconnected due to a fault in the street now it's back on my pilot light on my combi boiler is not on so do I have to purge the combi boiler before re-igniting or can I switch it back on. Any help or answers please, female with no knowledge of a central heating system at all.

go to the furthest appliance and turn it on but let only gas pass for 30 sec

normally you would turn the boiler straight back on (use as normal) and if they dont light within so long they go into a safe mode and you have to press a reset and try again until it does light
