I recently bought a ford focus for my wife. just had to replace the battery and now discover that we dont have the radio code!! Any ideas please....

Model is 6000 single disc player.

It happened to me too.
I went to the closest Ford dealer and they were able to tell me the code. I don't know how they did it, by using the diagnosis tool or it's just simply written on the back of the CD.
However it took no time and cost me nothing.
