I have a Dishlex Global 300 also where the ECO light would just flash and the drain pump run continuously - and I was not able to do anything by pressing buttons.
It turned out to be an overflow of water into the base of the machine.
There is a float switch in the base of the machine in a small plastic dish.
There is a metal cover with 2 small bolts that have to be removed to get to it.
I sponged the water out of that dish (and the rest in the base of the dishwasher), the float switch turned off - and everything worked as normal again.
The cause of the overflow in my case was not putting some filter parts back in the machine correctly. It could also be caused by too long of a fill time for the water pressure at your house.
