You might also check the hose the goes from the carb to the engine, under the air filter. I found mine full of holes. Replacing this hose fixed the problem.

I had thought the lack of fuel was due to a plugged intake hose. The see-through filter looked as though there was no fuel flowing. Disconnecting the line before the new filter would only allow fuel to flow if the fill cap was vented.

inlet hose from tank is plugged. back flush it with low pressure air wear safety goggles!( preferably empty tank)

what end of fuel filter did u remove?hose end towards tank or hose end towards the engine and carburator?if you removed the end towards the tank before the filter follow previous instructions if you removed the end after the fliter towards carburator remove the filter and replace go to any small engine repair or buy a small inline filter form auto parts store that is the same size and put it on the correct way line in is from the tank line out is to the carburator

buy new tank[?] they r cheap and come with install instructions

check underside of tanjk for bolt and remove but all you really should do is get a hand suction pump from any auto parts store and remove furl and then take an air compressor and blow back thru the line and then use a small shop vack to suck the crap out of the tank....remember to use clean filtered fuel.

forgot to memtion..gas tank is full- fresh gas last week..got progessively worse over 20 minutes
