water does not enter powder compartment?

after my aquarius wm62 was re-connected after kitchen refurb. the water only enters drawer through pre.wash/conditioner comp. It does not enter the main detergent department of drawer. I am told the connections i.e. hot & cold are connected correctly. It was fine before the disconnection any ideas. thank you

Disconnect hoses and turn taps on while running water into a bucket to check the supply from water pipes is ok. disconnect hose at machine end and blow thru it to check. Each machine valve has a fine mesh filter where the hose screws on - youll need a fine pair of pliers to pull them out. Check theyre not blocked. There is a chance that the water delivery spray has become blocked with splashback of soap....pull the drawer completely out of the machine, turn the machine on for only an instant and see if water is actually spraying into the correct area. Often the tiny holes in the device above the container block up, especially if the machine has been laid up for a while. Other than that, the fault is obviously internal, and not connected with the refurb.
