Cirtoen dispatch 1.9D 1999 - no power bottom end and smoke?
I have a citroen dispatch 1.9D 1999 - the last few days I have noticed it struggles to start in the morning, fine starting the rest of the day. It started to splutter and hic a bit at low revs, and seemed alright at higher revs. Now it sounds like it isnt running on all cyclinders, and excessive smoke at low revs again it is ok at higher revs.
Yeah, no turbo, is due a timing belt in about 4000 miles, although its quite old it has quite low miles 76000.
thanks for your info, someone else reckoned it might be fuel pump or injector.

No turbo? Guess you have an injector problem or pump timing issue.....had a timing belt change recently? I also think you need to have a compression test done - if only to rule this out. Its a process of elimination really - especially if your van has been to the moon and back.
