Agree with previous answer from 'Panic'. If you haven't sorted it yet, then, unless you're competent and have a good range of tools, then don't attempt the bearing replacement. Hotpoint can sell you the kit, but both the bearing and the drum support (the so-called 'spider' at the back of the drum) replacement involve a fair bit of dismantling. I know.....I've done both! Either call an engineer out or buy a reconditioned machine.
