How do I replace the cooling pipe on my ford mondeo diesel?

How do I get the metal cooling water pipe out of my mondeo diesel? The pipe runs under/ alongside the sump and up towards the turbo intercooler, by the oil filter on the drivers side. It has some brackets welded onto it and many bends, making removal difficult. It there an easy way, or am I going to have to remove my driveshaft?
