my usb port seems to be screwed up i dont know much about computers. but when i plug in my mp3 or a camera or anything in that matter to my usb it freezes my computer up. i have no idea what to do because now i cant download anything cuz theres no point.

have you tryed to reinstall usb drivers or up date usb drivers if you right click Mycomputer goto propities click hardware tab click device manager right click each of the usb drivers and goto update drivers if you dont have the drivers try web sites like driverguide.com or computer manf site and download them. done it on mine and now all usb ports work fine.
